PDF To JPEG Pro can convert PDF documents into popular image formats: you will be able to convert each page of a PDF document into a JPG, TIF, BMP, PNG, GIF, WMF, EMF or EPS file. Once you have chosen the document to convert, you can select where to save the new files, in which format, the page range that you want to convert and the resolution you want to use, in DPI (dots per inch). This can be done for multiple documents, as the program can perform batch conversions.
Once you have selected the appropriate settings for every document, you can launch the conversion process by clicking on "Convert" button. The program will then save an image file for each page of the original PDF document. These images can be opened by lots of programs, you will no longer need Acrobat to open the files. You can even publish the images on a web site, and everyone will be able to see them (in case it's not prohibited by original document's copyright, of course).
You can use the evaluation version of this program for free, but it will only allow you to convert the first 10 pages of a document.
It's a very simple, free and handy tool to convert PDFs to image files.
